Charles went into the last meeting in a great position to win the overall championship. 4th place or above in the 1st race would be good enough to win it.

 

Qualifying

 

Qualifying took place on a damp track and it went well for charles finishing 1st 0.9 seconds faster than 2nd position. Putting him in the perfect position to take the championship.

 

Race 1

 

Race 1 once again took place on a damp track with the whole grid opting for wet tyres. When the lights went out Charles got the best start and was straight into the lead by the 1st corner. He pulled out a small gap lap by lap to eventually take the win by 14 seconds and wrapping up the championship honours.

 

Race 2

 

Charles went into race 2 knowing that whatever the outcome he was the championship winner. Race 2 started and this time Charles didn’t get a great start and dropped to 2nd. Unfortunately he couldn’t get past the car in front and finished just 0.2 seconds behind the car in 1st.
